In addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/advice-for-public\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">information for the public<\/a> about protective measures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/news-room\/q-a-detail\/q-a-coronaviruses\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">questions and answers<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/travel-advice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">travel advice<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/situation-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">daily situation reports<\/a>, there is a wealth of specific technical and research information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/technical-guidance\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Technical Guidance<\/strong> collection<\/a> includes a national capacities review tool, risk communication and community engagement materials, surveillance and case definition guidance, and more.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/emergencies\/diseases\/novel-coronavirus-2019\/global-research-on-novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Global Research<\/strong> collection<\/a> includes links to current news articles and a searchable database of research publications.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/publications-detail\/the-first-few-x-(ffx)-cases-and-contact-investigation-protocol-for-2019-novel-coronavirus-(2019-ncov)-infection\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The First Few X (FFX) Cases and contact investigation protocol for 2019-novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) infection<\/a>: WHO designed this protocol to investigate the First Few X cases (FFX) and their close contacts. Using a standardized protocol like this allows systematic collection and analysis of epidemiological data and biological samples, and rapid sharing of knowledge to inform public health responses and policy decisions.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/publications-detail\/infection-prevention-and-control-during-health-care-when-novel-coronavirus-(ncov)-infection-is-suspected-20200125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Infection prevention and control during health care when novel coronavirus (nCoV) infection is suspected<\/a>: WHO\u2019s first edition of guidance on infection prevention and control (IPC) strategies for use when infection with COVID-19 is suspected. It has been adapted from WHO\u2019s prior guidance on IPC for MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV.
