The READY initiative is excited to present a COVID-19 Readiness Workshop for Uganda on June 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2020. This workshop will bring together NGO humanitarian leaders and multi-sectoral representatives for facilitated discussions and exercises on operational readiness. Due to current travel restrictions, this workshop will take place entirely remotely and online.

Like all READY workshops, this workshop aims to strengthen the operational capacities of participating NGOs to support a holistic, integrated response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Workshop content is presented through a mix of foundational sessions and interactive exercises, and aligns with pillars from WHO’s COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan, including risk communication and community engagement and infection prevention and control. This workshop will also review the latest NGO practices for COVID-19 around staff health and considerations for program adaptation.

Workshop materials will be posted in READY’s discussion forum.

If you would like more information about this or other READY workshops, please email ready@savechildren.org.
