From the WHO’s Global Health Cluster (GHC) COVID-19 Task Team: This desk review, led by READY, summarizes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on gender-based violence (GBV) health-related services in Bangladesh (Cox’s Bazar), Iraq, and northern Nigeria.

The report includes:

    • An overview of the impact of COVID-19 on GBV health-related services, common barriers to services, and GBV responses and adaptations;
    • Context-specific information on those same themes in Bangladesh (Cox’s Bazar), Iraq, and northern Nigeria; and
    • General and context-specific recommendations for governments, NGOs, healthcare providers, the UN and donors, and other actors.
