The goal of this training is to equip participants with foundational infectious disease epidemiology and modeling concepts to be able to have a better command of the interpretation of common data that is available for humanitarian emergencies. It also explains and demonstrates how key data translates to models in large-scale disease outbreaks and prepares learners to engage with and make use of epidemiological data and models in a variety of outbreaks. After completion of an 9-hour training over 2 weeks, participants should be able to use epidemiological data, models, and scenarios to inform their humanitarian work
This training was delivered to Africa, Asia, and Middle East cohorts in February and March of 2021, and will be delivered to an additional Africa cohort and a Global cohort in May and June of 2021. READY is not accepting additional applicants at this time.
